Worked example
A 4 m × 3 m floor is 12 m². With 10% allowance and 2.2 m² per pack, order 6 packs.
Check before ordering
Check the exact coverage printed on the flooring pack. Herringbone, diagonal layouts and small rooms can require more offcuts; irregular rooms should be broken into measured rectangles. Check product instructions for expansion gaps and underlay compatibility.
